blackboard

I do find blackboard useful. I think it's a wonderful way to share resources with colleagues and to also plan projects. Planning projects through black board is great, because with busy schedules, it is difficult to be able to meet. Especially if you are dealing with a larger than normal group. It is also a great and productive way to communicate with busy professors.

This is it!

There are several websites I found to be fun and informative. I like samantha's leave movie. I think she did a good job on the effects and choosing music that works with the mood of the movie. I also like that Michelle Traina used her website to not only promote herself, the class and her personal life, she was smart and used it to promote her dancing and performance side. She also promoted the show she is doing on her homepage, which I thought was adorable! Libby Kelly did a fantastic movie about shakespeare! She didn't just take pictures she already had. Libby downloaded pictures related to shakespeare and put together an educational piece that can be used in her classroom.

oh my goodness....

I am so happy to be done with the music concrete. I get easily overwhelmed with complicated instructions, but realized how easy it was once i understood what was going on. It really did not take nearly as long as I thought it would. I'm also happy with the way the final project turned out. I was in the purple group and found that my group was reliable and will ing to pitch in when needed. I had fun choosing the pictures for our story and I was very impressed with how the music turned out. I have to say, I was also so very impressed with everyone's projects. They were each very unique and fun to watch. I also found a few to be very informative and could tell that every group worked hard and had a good time!

The show opens on Thursday at 4:30 on November 20th and also has performances November 21st and 22nd at 7:30 pm. As far as teacher resources class, will someone pleeeeaaaassseee help me figure out how to do this movie thing? Someone with a MAC. I'm not sure what is going on with that, although I am awfully glad I am somewhat caught up! Yay Chen!

My first blog

This is unlike any assignment I have ever had! As part of my teacher resources class, we were required to start our own blog, which I have never done before. I guess partly because I'm not sure what to write about on these things. I guess I will use it to promote THE LARAMIE PROJECT for now. The Laramie Project is a play/documentary that I am assistant directing at a High school in Astoria, Queens. To any one in class that reads this and is interested, I will give you details! Here's to a successful week in teacher resources class!
